About

I am a fashion designer based in New York City specializing in knitwear and technical design. Aware of the importance of industry experience, I had interned at several labels such as The Row and Tibi by the time I earned my fashion BFA degree from Parsons School of Design in 2017.

To me, fashion is an unique art because it is also a commodity. I believe clothing should embody meanings and serve purposes in our lives as they are ultimately an extension of our physical bodies and spiritual identity. Valuing functionality and aesthetics equally, I aspire to create utilitarian products that demonstrate conceptual visions.

I read novels as a pastime and often draw inspiration from narratives. Upon establishing a concept or narrative, I research the topic, visually and literally. Then, I process and document my findings through collaging to inform my 2D/3D explorations. Amid the design process, my appreciation for craft and technical experience manifest in my attention to construction details and finishings. Indulged in the fantastical world of stories, I design with an ethereal and romantic touch.
